How many days do I need in Seoul?
4-5 days covers palaces, markets, neighborhoods, and a DMZ trip. Add 2-3 days for day trips to Suwon or Jeonju, or to explore the nightlife and shopping scene.
Is Seoul safe for tourists?
Extremely safe - one of the safest major cities in Asia. Violent crime is very rare. The biggest concern is minor scams in tourist areas. Public transport is excellent and runs late.
Do I need to speak Korean?
